MATHLabyrinth Training Course: Summary
Objectives: The learning objectives of this course is to train teachers in developing the knowledge and skills for applying the MATH-Labyrinth method and its main tool, the platform which served as an interactive book for use in their teaching practice.
With the completion of the course the teachers will be able to teach mathematics using the method and to be able to develop the analytical and critical thinking of their pupils in the secondary level of education. Teachers will now have access to a full set of math problems connected with problems of real life and be able to support their pupils to become creative.
The e-learning platform has a practice and test mode allowing teachers and pupils to use it effectively. Additional open educational resources will be introduced to the teachers.
Teachers would gain knowledge and practice about using different instruments for measuring the students’ performance in the classroom. Instruments for evaluation of the participants’ performance during the training course will be part of this output, as well as methods for testing the effectiveness of the course.
